Join artist and photographer Helmut Kuhn for the inaugural presentation in a new series exploring outstanding museums and exhibitions from around the world.

The evening begins with a short film on Yoko Ono: Music of the Mind at The Broad in Los Angeles, highlighting the exhibition’s participatory installations and the ways visitors become part of the artwork itself.

The main presentation takes an in-depth look at the remarkable new David Geffen Galleries at LACMA, designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Peter Zumthor. Through photographs, video and commentary, the program explores the building’s architecture, gallery spaces, and the innovative presentation of works from across cultures and centuries.

Presented on the Cambria Center for the Arts Theatre’s large cinema screen, this visual program offers an opportunity to experience one of America’s newest museums and one of today’s most talked-about exhibitions without leaving the Central Coast.

Tigg has created art throughout her life in one form or another, including interior design and architectural drafting. She received a degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Graphic Communications. Eventually, she found her way to painting. She works with both oils and watercolors, in her studio and outdoors. She is inspired by the natural beauty of the sea, the trees, and the charming communities tucked along the coastline.
